2015 Wells Fargo Championship Odds, Predictions & Free Picks – Favorites and Sleepers at Quail Hollow

2015 Wells Fargo Championship Odds, Predictions & Free Picks – Favorites and Sleepers at Quail Hollow The odds to win the 2015 Wells Fargo Championship have been posted on our PGA odds page from Bovada Sportsbook and the favorite to win is Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy at 7/2 odds. The 2015 Wells Fargo Championship will be played at the Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday, May 14th thru Sunday, May 17th. The tournament is a stroke play format on a par 72 course with a total purse of $7.1 million with the first place winner receiving $1.278 million.

2015 Wells Fargo Championship Odds & Predictions – The Favorites

Rory McIlroy is the favorite to win this week at the Wells Fargo Championship and he should be confident as he won this event in 2010 when it was called the Quail Hollow Championship. That win was very special for McIlroy as it was the first PGA Tour win in his career. The 26 year-old native of Northern Ireland has gone on to win nine more PGA Tour events the past 5 years including one this season on May 3rd at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship. McIlroy was the leading PGA Tour money winner in 2012 and 2014 and is on pace to challenge for that honor once again in 2015 and a win this week at Quail Hollow will go a long ways towards achieving that goal.

The two players with the next best odds to win the 2015 Wells Fargo Championship are Henrik Stenson and Jim Furyk at 18/1 apiece. Furyk won this event back in 2006 when it was called the Wachovia Championship and has won 17 tournaments on the PGA Tour in his career including a win on April 19th this year at the RBC Heritage. Stenson has four career wins on the PGA Tour with his last win coming back in 2013 at the Tour Championship.

2015 Wells Fargo Championship Odds & Predictions – The Sleepers

A couple of PGA Tour pros that we consider solid sleepers to potentially win this week at the Wells Fargo Championship are J.B. Holmes at 28/1 odds and Adam Scott at 30/1 odds. Holmes won this event last year when he shot a 274 to win by one stroke and he should be extremely confident around the greens this week as he knows what it takes to get it done at Quail Hollow. Holmes has four PGA Tour wins in his career and has won already in 2015 as he won the Shell Houston Open on April 5th. Scott is a proven winner on the PGA Tour with 11 career victories under his belt and is hungry for another win as he hasn’t won since May 25th, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. We like his chances this week to be in the hunt come Sunday.
